Stress is a normal part of life. We all can be affected by it occasionally. However, it can become difficult if you always feel anxious and stressed and you’re unable to handle it adequately. Often you have a panic attack when this takes place.

It is part of your body’s natural defense system to respond to stressful and dangerous situations with anxiety so you can come through them. However, sometimes if there is no danger, you may still suffer from a panic attack and feel like you’ve lost control.

You can stop panic attack by doing the following:

- Slow long deep breathing
- Avoid caffeine

- Positive thinking and focus

There are a number of ways that the harshness of a panic attack can be lessened. To do this, take slow deep breaths and relax - calm your mind and change your focus to more empowering images. It may be a good idea to practice deep diaphramatic breaths when you are not having a panic attack. This practice will come in handy when you actually need to try to stop panic attack.

Do your best to stay away from any items of food that contain caffeine. Stop a panic attack from even beggining by doing this. When a panic attack occurs, your body becomes overly alert and aware of everything and the presence of stimulants within your body only worsens this effect. Your chances of stopping a panic attack will increase if you make sure you do not intake any caffeine.

Regular exercise is important if you suffer from panic attacks. Exercising helps lower your adrenaline levels and keeps them under control. This helps stop panic attacks because the level of adrenaline increases with anxiety. Regular exercise helps you better control your negative thoughts and actions because of reduced levels of adrenaline.

Thinking about positive things can help when you begin to feel anxious. Think about the people you love and some happy memories to cope with the onset of fear and anxiety. The more you think positive, the easier it will be to do this when you get anxious and you are able to stop a panic attack.

As you can see these are some anxiety treatments that are simple but hugely effective. Make sure that you incorporate these into your daily routine and you will see a massive difference over time.

Although anxiety attacks are difficult to handle, you can stop a panic attack from occurring if you stay positive and focused and look after your mind and body.
